Butt Weld Elbows — 90° LR, 45° & 180°
ASME B16.9 · Long Radius (1.5D) & Short Radius (1D)
Description
Butt weld elbows change the direction of flow in a pipeline. Long radius (LR) elbows have a centre-to-face dimension of 1.5× the pipe OD — providing lower pressure drop and less turbulence. Short radius (SR) elbows are 1× OD — used where space is restricted. The 45° elbow changes direction at a shallower angle for smooth flow transitions.
Applications
Process piping · Oil & gas flowlines · Steam lines · Chemical plant · Structural & utility piping · All industries requiring directional change

Tees (Equal & Reducing) and Reducers
ASME B16.9 · Equal Tee, Reducing Tee, Concentric & Eccentric Reducer
Description
Tees split or combine flow in a piping system. Equal tees have three ports of the same size; reducing tees have a smaller branch outlet. Concentric reducers connect pipes of different sizes with the same centreline — used in vertical lines. Eccentric reducers are offset — used in horizontal lines to maintain a level bottom (to avoid air pockets or liquid traps).
Applications
Tee: distribution headers · Branch connections. Concentric reducer: vertical process lines. Eccentric reducer: pump suction lines · Horizontal gas lines · Any line requiring a level invert

Forged Socket Weld Fittings
ASME B16.11 · Class 3000 / 6000 / 9000 · ½”–4″
Description
Forged socket weld fittings are used on small-bore high-pressure piping (up to 4″). The pipe inserts into the fitting socket and is secured by a single fillet weld. Stronger and cleaner bore than threaded fittings. Class 3000 for standard service; Class 6000 and 9000 for high-pressure applications. Manufactured from solid forgings for maximum strength.
Applications
Chemical injection lines · Instrument piping · High-pressure hydraulic systems · Small-bore process lines · All high-pressure small-bore applications

Forged Threaded Fittings & Couplings
ASME B16.11 · NPT / BSP Thread · No Welding Required
Description
Forged threaded fittings (NPT or BSP thread) connect pipes without welding — ideal for hazardous areas, non-weldable locations or where frequent disassembly is required. Includes elbows, tees, couplings, unions, bushings, plugs and caps. Available in Class 2000, 3000 and 6000 pressure ratings per ASME B16.11.
Applications
Hazardous area piping · Instrument connections · Temporary piping · Non-weldable locations · Air & water service · Utility piping where welding is impractical

Sch
Wall Thickness Schedules Explained
Sch 10S · Sch 40 · Sch 80 · Sch 160 · XXS — What Each Means
What is Schedule?
Schedule (Sch) refers to the wall thickness of a pipe fitting relative to its outside diameter. A higher schedule number means a thicker wall and therefore higher pressure rating. Schedule 40 is the most common standard weight for carbon steel. The “S” suffix (e.g. 10S, 40S) is used for stainless steel schedules per ASME B36.19.
Selection Guide
Sch 10S/20: Low-pressure utility · Sch 40 (STD): General purpose · Sch 80 (XS): High-pressure · Sch 120/160: Very high pressure · XXS: Extreme pressure & thick-wall applications
Common Schedules We Supply
Sch 5S / 10S — SS Light Wall Sch 40 (STD) — Most Common CS Sch 40S — SS Standard Sch 80 (XS) — Extra Strong Sch 80S — SS Extra Strong Sch 120 — Heavy Wall Sch 160 — Very Heavy XXS — Double Extra Strong
