RR Hydraulic’s manufacturing operation is structured around three non-negotiable principles that govern every order, regardless of size: standard compliance — every component is manufactured to the specific dimensional and material standard cited on the purchase order, verified before production commitment, not approximated to a “close enough” alternative; material traceability — every production lot is traceable to a specific certified raw material heat, from incoming inspection through forging or machining, heat treatment, coating, and final dispatch; and documented verification — every shipment is accompanied by the material test certificates, dimensional inspection reports, and (where applicable) NDT and coating reports needed for the receiving engineer to independently confirm conformity, rather than relying on trust alone. This approach reflects the reality that a fastener, flange, or fitting failure on an EPC project carries consequences far exceeding the component’s purchase price — our manufacturing discipline is built around preventing that failure at the source, not detecting it after the fact.

RR Hydraulic operates a fully certified ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System covering raw material procurement and incoming inspection, in-process manufacturing control, final inspection and testing, and dispatch documentation — the same system architecture detailed in our dedicated ISO 9001:2015 reference. Every production lot is heat/lot traceable from certified raw material through to the finished, marked, and packed component, with material test certificates (EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, as specified) issued and cross-referenced to the physical heat/lot marking on every shipment.

3.3 — First Article Inspection and Ongoing Lot Release

Every new project configuration (product × standard × size × grade × coating) undergoes First Article Inspection before batch production — complete dimensional, mechanical, and material verification against the customer’s specific purchase order requirements, released and documented before the balance of the order proceeds to production. Ongoing production lots are subject to the applicable sampling inspection frequency per our documented QMS procedures, with 100% inspection applied to critical dimensions and characteristics as determined by the product’s service criticality and the customer’s specified inspection level.

Any detected non-conformance — dimensional, material, mechanical, or coating — is documented, segregated, and dispositioned per our non-conformance and corrective action procedure before any affected lot can be released for dispatch. Root cause investigation and corrective action are applied to prevent recurrence, consistent with the Clause 8.7 and Clause 10.2 requirements of ISO 9001:2015 described in our dedicated quality management system reference.

• Rust-preventive oil, VCI treatment, and bore/thread protection applied per product type immediately after final QC release and before packing
• ISPM-15 certified timber crating or export cartons, palletised and strapped for ocean or air freight as required by shipment size and destination
• Heat/lot number marking on every component, cross-referenced to the accompanying material test certificate for site receiving inspection traceability
• Complete documentation in a waterproof pocket attached to the shipment, with a duplicate set couriered or emailed separately: EN 10204 3.1/3.2 MTC, dimensional inspection report, mechanical/NDT reports (as applicable), packing list, certificate of origin, and commercial invoice
• Freight coordination support across INCOTERMS 2020 terms (FOB, CIF, CFR, DAP, and others as agreed), with HS tariff code classification support for correct customs clearance at destination
